As expert metrologists they are often asked to develop new and unusual bespoke precision measuring systems.
Whilst Sangha 3 point bore gauges remain the pre-eminent means by which to accurately and precisely measure internal diameters to within 4 microns, recently they were presented with a measurement problem that required a different application. In this instance the combination of a robotic bore gauge and a rapid laser system was developed to function simultaneously.
